it seems that north america didnt get fiat 125 but i ll fire a
question anyway.
my 125 s got solex 34 paia and it s a bit dodgy all around.
1. is it possible to mount single downdraft webers used in fiat
124s on 125 manifold?
2. if so, what would be good candidates?
if above options no good then probably 124 manifold should bolt
on, but would there be clearance problems with block mounted
distributor?
cheers

Hi Sam - I believe that the DHSA and DMSA series carbs are the
same footprint as that Solex. We will have to compare
measurements to be sure. Which motor do you have, the 1585, 1756?

the 1608 manifold is not too bad. The 72-73 dual plane 1608
manifold has a bad rap. there was also a single plane 1608 (71),
very similar to the 1800 manifold (75-78). all of the TC intake
manifolds will fit the 1608 except for the early 1438. The 34
dmsa carb is about the largest of them all, as found on the 74
124's. The 28/36 DHSA is not bad either. the footprint is
45x93mm across the studs (diagonal measure is 115mm). the N.A.
single plane 1608 manifold is 29mm and 38mm, for the primary and
secondary, respectively. they all should accomodate the block-
mounted distributor..pete
