I need to have some mechanical work done to my 81' Fiat Spider.
I'm thinking of going to Westown Imports in West Chester PA.
They're listed on this site for parts and service. Has anyone
used these guys before or know anything about them?

Thanks for the advice.

I think they were at about $78/hr labor last time I noticed. They
will also charge above any known catalogs for parts. They do know
their stuff.
What are you needing help with? I could probably do it.

Thad,

We spoke on the phone some time back...
The mechanic I've been using for the repairs to my 81' Spider
hasen't been able to correctly fix the car. I'm looking for a
new mechanic who's more familliar with Fiats. That's why I was
asking about the reputation of Westown.
So far I've had extensive work done to the car...new brakes,
exhaust, fuel lines, fan, calipers, rotors, under carriage rust
repaired, lights, blinkers and the list goes on.
The car still is running somewhat rough (but better than when it
first arrived at the shop), it has difficulty starting when cold
and seems to be getting a little hot when idling. It's been in
and out of my mechanics shop for the past 6 months.
I'd be interested in speaking to you about the repairs. The car
is in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania. I believe this is fairly
close to you.
