Why not just use a Brava "thru-glass" mirror?

Zagato mirror on a Brava?
(Jim Keller)

Does anyone know if a Zagato "thru glass" side rearview mirror
will work on a Brave with "thru glass" rear view mirror?

The Brava mirrors are technically
"through-the-little-corner-trim-piece", not the glass per se, but
they are internally adjustable just the same. And available from
just about any vendor, who would likely be grateful to be able to
SELL Brava parts at all. Plus, keeps the original look of the
car. The Bravas on my website only show the drivers' side, but I
have one pass. side unit as well that I'll be installing on the
yellow one. Was NOS, from my own inventory! Unfortunately, it was
the only one, sorry 'bout that.
As far as the Beta mirrors, I mounted a set on my Scorpion ala
the S2 MonteCarlo. Had to make front 1/4 glasses out of thick
plexiglas, then drill the mirror mounting hole. You'd have to do
the same for a Brava to use the mirrors.
Are you, um, a new Brava owner? Very proud if the yellow one that
sat outside your house for those few hours was the inspiration!

Yes I would own one, no I am not a new owner.......yet, friend
wanted to know as I have a few Zag mirrors laying around and he
needs one for the Brava he just got, now we know without going
out in the cold to try it! (:-) thanks!
