Well, I got to run the Supra at a local autocross at Nashville 
sunday.  The car did pretty well but was loose on corner exit 
under power.  Other than that I was pleased with its 
performance.  So, me being me, and never completely satified, I 
decided today to swap the TRD clutch type limited slip that was 
in the car for a more foregiving Torsen/Gleason unit. 

This should cure the corner exit oversteer as the TRD unit locks 
pretty hard and acts more like a locked rear end and thus power 
oversteer on tighter corners.  

The car also had the rear swaybar off a turbo supra which is 
slightly stiffer than the standard non-turbo bar.  I swapped it 
for the smaller bar as an added measure.  

I tossed both the turbo rear bar and a TRD front bar (1.25" - 
stock is 1.125") in the van to take with me just in case.  Got 
home and loaded the van for nationals.  I leave in 5 days.  

I think the car will be quite good.  If my test in Nashville is 
any indication, then I may do better than I thought with the 
car.
