X 1/9 fender flairs
(John Whitney)

I solo II an X 1/9 and next year will be adding wide wheels and
sticky tires. Has anyone found sources for fender flairs?
Bayless list them in their catalog, but I was woundering if any
others were out there. If you have any ideas please let me know.

I have wondered about this also - specifically, has anyone tried
using generic flairs like the ones you can buy in a roll at the
truck performance places? Would that look horrible or would it
work....

(a repost)
One source for fiberglass flares for an X1/9 is:
Performance Fiberglass
401 Russell
Salina, KS 67401
(785) 825-4015
I believe these are the type found on most current SCCA G and F
Production race cars (like Mark Irwin's at FFO).
A price sheet that I have (which may not be current) has:
Hood - $146
Engine cover - $206
Flares - $136 (each)
Front air dam - $132
