Old Salem Rally 9/22/2007
(Bob Cattera, Angier, NC)

Gail and I participated in the first annual Old Salem Rally today, which was
hosted by the Triad Austin Healey Club. This rally is in conjunction with the
Concourse de Graylyn in Winston Salem, NC, a weekend long event (a celebration
of automobiles, art and wine) that benefits the Brenner Children’s Hospital.
Brenner Children’s Hospital specializes in the treatment of cancer in children
between the ages of 2 and 17. In a field of 62 cars that included Alfas,
BMWs. Miatas, MGs, Austin Healeys, and one Lancia, we came in first with just
12 points. We were the only Fiat there.
It was a twisty ride through some hilly countryside. Since we probably will
never have such great dumb luck again we are encouraging you all to come to
this rally next year to try for another Fiat first place winner.

I really hate I missed that rally and car show. To think I travelled 2200
miles for a car show and this one was 10 miles from home. I'll be sure to be
there next year and I'll give you a run for your money!

Denise:
Now you have to go on a nationwide speaking tour to show the car at every car
show for the whole year ending up at ICF 2008. Didn't Jerry tell you this?
That is what the $500 is for.
Cheers
